These terms are the ground rules for using TidySVG. In short:
Your drawings are processed only in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
What you make is yours, and you can use exported files freely, including commercially.
Your work is saved in your browser, where it can be lost. Save anything important as an SVG file.

1.Acceptance
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using TidySVG, an online SVG editor, and its website (together, the "Service"), provided by the operator of TidySVG (the "Operator", "we" or "us").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Any additional rules we post on the Service form part of these Terms. If they conflict with these Terms, the additional rules prevail.
2.The Service
The Service is a tool for creating and editing SVG graphics in a web browser and exporting them as SVG or PNG files. It is free to use and requires no account.
Editing happens inside your browser. Data you create in or open with the Service ("Your Content") is not sent to our servers.
We may offer parts of the Service for a fee in the future. If we do, the price, payment method and other conditions will be set out separately and shown on the Service at that time.
3.Your Content
Your Content belongs to you or its rightful owner. We acquire no rights in Your Content by providing the Service.
You may use files you create and export with the Service freely, for commercial or non-commercial purposes. No attribution is required.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights, or the owner's permission, to use any files, images, fonts or other material you open in the Service.
4.How your work is stored
The Service automatically saves your current document in your browser's local storage.
Autosaved data can be lost, for example when browser data is cleared, when you use private browsing, when storage limits are reached, or when your browser or device malfunctions. Because we do not keep Your Content, we cannot recover lost data.
It is your responsibility to save anything you need as an SVG file and keep it safe.
5.Prohibited conduct
When using the Service, you must not:
break the law or act against public order or morals;
infringe the copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property, privacy, reputation or other rights or interests of others;
place an excessive load on the Service's servers or network, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service;
circumvent or disable the Service's security measures;
impersonate us or anyone else, or suggest that you are affiliated with or endorsed by us when you are not; or
do anything else that we reasonably consider inappropriate as being similar to the above.
6.Intellectual property
All rights in the software, design, text, logo, the "TidySVG" name and other content that make up the Service (excluding Your Content) belong to us or their rightful owners.
Where the Service's source code is published under an open-source license, that license, not these Terms, governs your use of that source code. That license does not grant permission to use the TidySVG name or logo.
7.Changes, interruptions and discontinuation
We may change the Service, and add or remove features.
We may suspend all or part of the Service without notice:
to maintain, inspect or update its systems;
when providing it becomes difficult due to failures, natural disasters, power outages, network incidents or other events beyond our control; or
when we otherwise consider a suspension necessary.
We may discontinue the Service after giving reasonable advance notice on the Service.
8.Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be fit for your particular purpose, that it will have the features, accuracy or usefulness you expect, that it will be free of defects, or that exported files will display as intended in any particular software or browser.
The Service does not support every SVG element and attribute. When you open an existing file and export it again, some of the original content may not be preserved.
9.Limitation of liability
We are not liable for any damage you suffer from using or being unable to use the Service, except where it results from our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
The preceding paragraph does not apply where your agreement with us for use of the Service is a consumer contract under Japan's Consumer Contract Act. In that case, for damage caused by our negligence (other than gross negligence), our liability is limited to the direct damage that would ordinarily arise.
10.Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms when:
the change is in the general interest of users; or
the change does not conflict with the purpose of these Terms and is reasonable in light of the need for it, the appropriateness of the new content and other relevant circumstances.
When we change these Terms, we will post the new Terms and their effective date on the Service before that date.
11.Severability
If any provision of these Terms, or any part of one, is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the rest of these Terms remains in effect.
12.Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of Japan.
Any dispute between you and us relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the district court with jurisdiction over the Operator's location.
These Terms are provided in Japanese and English. If the two versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.
